TCRacing has steadily increased its
activity in North American motorsport since its inception in 2003.
The team tested several drivers ahead of its first full season of
competition, where it earned Rookie of the Year honours in the Ontario
Touring Car Championship.
In
the fall of 2006, Aaron Povoledo and Curt Storms ran TCRacing's
Honda S2000 as high as 2nd overall in the team's first endurance
race entry. The team increased its focus on long-distance racing,
debuting its new Civic EK9/B16 in the 2007 4 Hours at Summit Point.
Drivers Tom Calusic and Steven Scala took class honours.
After
opening the season with an impressive showing at Mosport's Victoria
Day Sundown 3-hour. The B16/EK9 Civic ran as high as 2nd overall
behind the race's eventual winners, Koni Challenge team GS Motorsports.
The team followed with a brief foray into Touring
Cars, and now regains its focus on endurance racing.
